September 10th 2019 - "Speed dating" with quilts! An opportunity to get to know other members - new and old. Come along and find out what this is all about.
September 28th - Workshop - Introduction to Wholecloth quilting -

October 8th – Talk - The story of the Ascott Martyrs - with commemorative quilt
November 9th - Workshop - Introduction to Wholecloth quilting -

January 14th – Crazy Quilting - Talk and Demonstration by member Ani Catt - defeated by Fire Alarm!!
January 18th - Saturday Workshop led by Ani Catt, following on from her talk the previous Tuesday. Have a go at Ribbon Embroidery. £20 members, £25 non-members.
February 11th – Crazy Quilting - Talk and Demonstration by member Ani Catt.
March 10th – Fussy Cutting for EPP - Demonstration and "have a go" - Led by Steph Venn, Cupcake Cottons.

Project Linus information:
Margaret Metcalfe and Ani Catt are collecting quilts for Project Linus as follows:
Incubator covers for the SCBU at the JR - 33" x 55"
Quilts for children/teenagers - 40" square upwards (to single bed)
Covers/quilts should be made from cotton fabric and then wadded or backed with fleece. There should be no frills or furbelows! (i.e. all machine stitched, no buttons, ribbons, bells ...)
Also required are :
Breast pump bags - 13" x 9" with a long cross body strap.
"Wiggly" bags (for Hickman lines worn by children on oncology ward) - 4" square with 2 cotton tapes one from each top corner, at least 18" long.
